This policy explains how the Al Noor INT School Services app ("the app") collects and uses information. The app is provided for the families and staff of Al Noor International School.

Information we collect

• Parent account: your mobile phone number, used to sign in.
• Child details: the child names, grade and section, and gender that you enter.
• Pickup requests: car model, car colour, plate number, pickup gate, estimated arrival, an optional emergency reason, and the time of the request.
• Location (optional): if you choose "Share my current location" on a pickup request, your location at that moment is sent to school staff. Staff devices may share their location as the school bus location while a bus trip is running. Location is only collected after you allow it in iOS.
• Notifications: a push notification token so we can tell you when your child is ready.
• Feedback and absence notes that you choose to send to the school.
• Settings such as language and theme, stored only on your device.

How we use it

Only to run school pickup and bus services: showing requests to school staff, updating you on the status, showing bus locations to parents, and sending related notifications. We do not sell your information, show ads, or track you across other apps or websites.

Where it is stored and who can see it

Information is stored securely with Google Firebase (Authentication, Realtime Database and Cloud Messaging). Pickup requests are visible to authorised school staff. Bus locations and bus student lists are visible to signed-in users of the app. Service providers process data only on our behalf.

How long we keep it

Pickup requests are removed when staff clear collected requests. Account and child details are kept while you use the app and deleted on request.

Your choices

• You can turn off location and notifications at any time in iOS Settings.
• You can remove a child or sign out in the app.
• You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information using the contact below.

Children

The app is used by parents and school staff. Children do not use the app or create accounts; their details are entered by a parent or the school only for pickup.

We may update this policy; the latest version is always on this page.
